As a comfort brand, the foundation of our company has always been to make sure that no matter where you are in life, you deserve to be comfortable. The coronavirus (COVID-19) is continuing to spread and impact businesses and communities across the world, and now, more than ever, the sentiment of comfort rings true.

In this time of uncertainty and unknown, we strive to continue to be a thread of comfort in your lives.

First, we are exercising the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as the World Health Organization. As a result, we are asking all team members to continue to wash their hands, stay home if they aren’t feeling well and minimize outside contact.

Secondly, we have implemented measures internally that prioritizes not only the physical health of our team members but their mental health as well. As result, the following actions have been put into effect are below. 

Internally:

Work Remotely. We have asked all employees who can work remotely to do so. By limiting contact with the outside world, we limit the potential risk of spreading the virus. Remember, even if you are not showing symptoms, you could be a carrier.

Travel Ban. We have placed a temporary ban on non-essential travel. All meetings that can be handled remotely will be.

Increased Cleaning Measures. We have increased our cleaning measures in our distribution facilities and mandated a mandatory mask policy.

Importance of Mental Health. We have placed an even greater stress on the importance of mental well being and have complimentary counseling available for team members experiencing high anxiety or stress.

24/7 Teladoc. Our team has 24/7 access to a complimentary teladoc in case they are feeling under the weather but don’t want to risk going into the doctor or urgent care.

If there is one thing we are certain about during these uncertain times and that is our sense of community and support.  As the world around us is evolving, and as it does, so do we, as we continue to make products that give back to our community and provide comfort.

Sportiqe Together We Win Tee. We made special edition “Together We Win” comfy tees to give back to those who have been impacted by COVID-19. 100% of profits go to healthcare and community relief. Thanks to you, $27,279 was already donated to Americares’ COVID-19 relief fund to help with protective equipment, medicines and supplies to frontline health care professionals and those in need.

Sportiqe Comfort Covers. We took our signature comfy jersey fabric and constructed a face cover that provided the same comfort and quality of our apparel, with an included filter to protect our community. As a way of giving back, we are donating 10% of all proceeds from our face covers back to healthcare workers on the frontlines.

Comfort Box. We have partnered with local brands and restaurants, such as Pizzeria Bianco and Little Miss BBQ, creating comfort boxes of comfortable clothing and comfort food, available for purchase on our website, in hopes to help local restaurants and businesses.
