SportsCenter celebrates it's 50,000th episode tonight!

ESPN, originally the Eastern Sports Programming Network (and now Entertainment and Sports Programming Network) launched in September of 1979. This is what the set looked like back in the day:

Then, ESPN changed up their SportsCenter set in 1980 and added Chris Berman and Bob Ley to the mix:
