Austin City Limits Live

Sportiqe’s latest account in the music scene is Austin City Limits Live and for any music fan, ACL-Live is the mecca of performance venues. If you aren’t familiar with ACL-Live, it is a music venue that broadcasts its performances on PBS and for 35 seasons, it has pleased the public’s ears by showcasing a wide variety our nation’s hottest artists. From Johnny Cash and Ray Charles to such modern-day acts as Muse, Dave Matthews Band and Sheryl Crow, this pillar in the music community has helped promote new artists as well as showcase already established talent.

For many many years the show was filmed in a small recording studio, holding a capacity of 320, which created an incredibly intimate setting. But Austin City Limits just underwent a significant makeover, and Sportiqe designed an extensive collection, available exclusively at the venue, to celebrate this momentous change. The venue that has defined music today is moving and expanding. The new stage, called the Moody Theater, will be in the $300 million W Hotel complex being built in Austin (pictured below) and will now seat 2,750 rabid fans. It will be like no other music venue out there because not only is it a performance venue, but it will remain a TV set and production studio with all the cables and cameras plain in sight. This makes ACL a musician’s dream and a fan’s ultimate musical experience.

Check out the ACL Live calendar of shows at the Moody Theater here and taping of season 37 of ACL Live on PBS begins this Spring so stay tuned to see if your favorite artist will be featured on the world’s longest running music television show.
